Residents who participated in Blackburnl REC Walk #7 and FMC REC Walk #18 had this to say about their weekends:

 

"Be the change that you want to see in the world."  This Ghandi quote was shared in the "Goals" talk.  One of the residents told us that the REC team was actually being that change.

 

One resident told us about the importance of the prayer chart.  The impact it had on him was so great that he called his family and they have actually assigned family members to pray for an hour each day for a week.  He also said that he sent a piece of what home in his letters so that he could share the weekend with them.

 

A resident told us that the love that flowed on the weekend was like an oasis in the desert to him.

 

Another resident said that the love of Jesus flowed generously on the weekend and he asked the team to never let it stop.

 

God does show up and He work in ways we don't even realize!
